Enacted in 2018, Iowa's Dyslexia Task Force law required a specific group of stakeholders to study dyslexia in Iowa and make recommendations to help Iowa students.  The task force began meeting in October 2018 and concluded its work in November 2019.  The group's written report was submitted to the Iowa legislature, per the law's requirements.

Read the complete task force report, which outlines what the task force learned about how dyslexia is handled in Iowa.  The report also provides recommendations for various stakeholder groups.  Data from the dyslexia survey conducted by the task force is found in this report.  The executive summary contains only the list of recommendations.
