On April 17th, 2018, Governor Kim Reynolds signed the Dyslexia Task Force bill into law.
Enacted in 2018, Iowa's Dyslexia Task Force law required a specific group of stakeholders to study dyslexia in Iowa and make recommendations to help Iowa students. The task force began meeting in October 2018 and concluded its work in November 2019. The group's written report was submitted to the Iowa legislature, per the law's requirements.
